CAPES For Kids Run

The Race

CAPES for Kids is an annual 5K|10K & Kids Fun Run, held in honor of a 3-year old Carver Elementary School student, who lost her life due to physical abuse and neglect in 2011. Formerly known as the Carver C.A.P. Run, this event strives to honor her life, and the lives of children like her, while also raising awareness and support for victims of child abuse in our local community. All proceeds support quality services at the CARE House of the Pee Dee for children who have been abused and their families.

Participants will receive a 5K shirt.

*Register before Thursday, April 10th to guarentee a Race T-Shirt

FINISHER MEDAL
Finishers will receive a medal at the finish line.

AGE GROUP WINNERS
Age Groups: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Participants who place in the top three in their age group will receive a medal. Age groups are separated by gender.

*Please note if you place Overall, you will not also be awarded for your age group.

All proceeds support quality services at the CARE House of the Pee Dee for children who have been abused and their families. This family-friendly event includes children's activities such as face-painting and inflatables along with a superhero costume contest.
