Banks Trail 5k

The Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) and the Athletic Booster Club (ABC) at Banks Trail Middle School in Fort Mill, SC is hosting an event on November 18-19, 2016. On Friday night, we will have a pasta dinner, silent auction, and race packet pick-up, followed by a 5k race on Saturday morning! Registration begins at 8 am and the race starts at 9 am.The course is challenging but easy to navigate, with an out and back loop. The event is a fundraiser for the PTO and ABC, which will raise money for both organizations. The PTO will use the money to fund our school’s Enrichment Clubs, while the ABC will use the money to fund our school’s sports programs. Middle school sports is not state-funded in SC, so it is very important to the life of middle school sports for us to raise money to purchase new uniforms, equipment, and other much-needed items for our sports teams.
