Event Schedule:

• 8:00 AM - Festivities begin

• 9:00 AM - 5K start time

• 9:45 AM - 1 mile fun run start

• 10:00 AM - Awards

• The Kids' Zone will be open from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

Packet Pickup:

• Thursday, October 29 from 3:00 - 6:00 PM at the Kroc Center

• Friday, October 30 from 3:00 - 6:00 PM at the Kroc Center

• Saturday morning from 7:30 - 8:30 AM?

Shirts: shirts will be available for purchase but registration does not include a shirt.

Description of the event:

Grab your cape and lace up your sneakers. It’s time to be a hero for local kids! 

The Superhero 5K & Fun Run is a family-friendly fundraising event benefiting the Red Shield Youth Center. Every step you take helps provide a safe, supportive space where youth can learn, grow, and thrive. 

Event Highlights:

• Timed 5K for runners and walkers of all levels

• Fun Run for our youngest heroes

• Prizes for top race finishers and best superhero costumes

• Kids’ Fun Zone (free for registered youth runners, race bibs serve as entry tickets; small fee for non-registered children)

• Local vendors with interactive, family-friendly activities

• Food vendors serving delicious options for the whole family

• Whether you’re racing, walking, dressing up, or just coming to enjoy the festivities, this event offers something for everyone. 

Your participation supports after-school programs, mentorship, academic support, and enriching experiences for the incredible youth we serve.

Pricing Schedule:

• Early Bird Registration (Launch - March 31) - $25 
  
• Standard Registration (April 1 - August 31) - $35
• Late Registration (September 1 - October 28) - $45
• In-Person Registration (Packet Pickup dates and October 31) - $55
• Kids fun run + fun zone access: $15
• Fun Zone only: $5 per person (in person; must be accompanied by an adult)
• Red Shield Youth Center kids should be able to register for free.
