Sea Pines Last Dash 5K

Ring in the New Year with the Sea Pines LAST DASH 5K Beach Run! Prepare for the celebrations ahead and finish those last-minute resolutions of 2024. The LAST DASH 5K takes place in beautiful Sea Pines Resort - Hilton Head Island, SC.

We utilize our beautiful hard flat beach for the race course - the perfect running experience on Hilton Head Island!

Costumes are encouraged!

Registration is online only - cut-off for registration is race day at 8:30am

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

PRE-RACE

PACKET PICK UP

1. Saturday & Sunday : Participants may pick up their packets at The Sea Pines Resort Fitness Center (MAP) - from 1pm - 3pm.
   
2. Monday (Race Day) : Participants pick up their race packet at the race site - Sea Pines Beach Club (MAP) on race morning 8am - 8:45am. 

Please bring your confirmation email (hardcopy or smartphone) to Pick Up.
- Yes, you may pick up for more than one person - actually, this is recommended and appreciated.
- Yes, you may purchase additional race T-shirts at packet-pickup (when supplies allow).

Please note there is a $9 Gate Fee to enter Sea Pines if you are not staying in the community. 

RESULTS

Preliminary results will be emailed to you 20 seconds after your finish - and will contain a link to the overall preliminary results.
Final results will be emailed shortly after the completion of the race.

We are pleased to be benefiting the Turtle Trackers - whose mission is to assist with the preservation efforts for endangered sea turtles nesting on Hilton Head Island, and to educate the public for the protection of our sea turtle hatchlings heading to the ocean. T-SHIRT

Every paid registered participant receives a custom race T-shirt (a really cool one too!) and a custom race bib.

RIDE YOUR BIKE

We encourage everyone to ride your bike or walk to the race site - due to the limited vehicle parking at the Sea Pines Beach Club. There are lots of bike racks available - and, it is a great warm up for the run.

PARKING

Bike parking, vehicle parking, handicap parking, and runner drop-off is available at the Beach Club lot.

INCLEMENT WEATHER PLAN

Safety for our participants, volunteers, and staff is our number one concern. Any decision we make regarding the production or cancellation of the event will be made with safety in mind. If mother nature does not cooperate on race morning - we will delay the event until the conditions are safe - this delay will continue for a reasonable amount of time until we deem it necessary to cancel the event. If time permits and if the weather poses a threat that is certain to make us cancel the event in the hours prior the start, we will notify participants of the race cancellation via email as soon as that decision is made.

REFUND POLICY

There are no refunds for the event and all proceeds benefit the event charity. 
In case of cancellation, race t-shirts may be picked up at the race site on race morning - or, at the Sea Pines Fitness Center on race day between 12:30pm and 4pm. We do not mail race shirts.
