Bike Course

Bike Course Map -  http://www.usatf.org/routes/view.asp?rID=504170

The 13 mile out and back bike course has some challenging hills and some very nice flats perfect for getting in the aero bars. The course is open to cars but traffic is typical very minimal. You follow Kennerly road for a little more than 6 miles before the turnaround is at Shady Grove Road. The last mile returning to the YMCA is smooth, downhill, and fast

Run Course

Leaving the YMCA, you turn right on Kennerly Road and again right on Firetower Road to begin the 5K. Firetower has a steady incline as you begin the 2nd mile but the last mile is all downhill until you return to the YMCA. As you enter the YMCA, you run straight past the transition area and around the back of the YMCA finishing at our Splash Pad. There you will find your friends and family waiting on you while they enjoy food, music, and the cool water of the splash pad. The Splash Pad is something to look forward to after a hot July race!
