MayDay Marathon

THE GREATEST SPORTING EVENT IN THE UNIVERSE !!!!!
See all the beauty of Charleston (and a fair amount of traffic) as you run from THE WINDJAMMER on Isle of Palms to Folly Beach (full) and from THE WATERFRONT PARK PINEAPPLE downtown to Folly Beach (1/2). 

This is an OPEN COURSE RACE so if you don't know how to cross intersections and obey traffic signals you should probably GO TO WORK...if you're not an idiot, and want to have a great day with some awesome people, you should definitely CALL IN SICK.

The course will be adequately marked with DIRECTIONAL ARROWS, MILE MARKERS, AND PINWHEELS..but if for some reason you get confused, just ask for directions to Folly...or use your phone.

There will be a few aid stations but you should carry some cash or cards to use at the number of gas stations, drug stores, bars and restaurants along the way if you need extra fuel.

This is a POINT TO POINT event so getting to the start and where you need to be after are UP TO YOU..

HOWEVER, you can DROP A BAG at the start of the full and 1/2 and your gear will be waiting for you at the finish.

USE OLD BIBS OR MAKE A NEW ONE!
