Information:
Join us on May 25 for the Myrtle Beach Remembrance Walk, a meaningful, untimed walk held in honor and memory of the brave men and women who lost their lives in service to our country. This is not a race—it is a time to reflect, remember, and walk together in gratitude and respect.
Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome. Walk at your own pace as we come together as a community to honor sacrifice, service, and freedom.
We walk to remember. We walk to honor. We walk so they are never forgotten.
In memory. In honor. Together.
Honoring those who gave all.
Participant Swag:
- Custom designed bib
- Challenge Coin
- Participant shirt (while supplies last-register early to guarantee your shirt size)
Non-Profit Information:
- Blue Star Mothers of Coastal Carolina
Blue Star Mothers consists of parents who have children serving or have served in the US Military. This non-profit, non-sectarian, non-political organization serves to support one another, support our troops, support our Veterans and promote patriotism in our community.
- ECHO (Eastern Carolina Housing Organization)
Our Veteran Services team is dedicated to getting veterans experiencing a housing crisis the benefits they deserve.
SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR VETERAN FAMILIES (SSVF)
The SSVF program is dedicated to helping low-income veteran families who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. We understand that veterans and their families have made sacrifices to protect our country, and we want to ensure that they have access to the support they need to achieve housing stability.
- Veterans Welcome Home and Resource Center
The Veterans Welcome Home and Resource Center (VWHRC) opened in May of 2009. Based on The founding belief that all Military Veterans have earned recognition, respect, and yes, assistance from the nation they so honorably served. In keeping with that ideal, VWHRC invited veterans from all services and all eras to visit our office. Over the first three years, hundreds of vets have responded to this invitation. Some came out of curiosity, wanting to know what we were all about, others came just to talk and share their life experiences as Vets. But, by far, our visitors’ conversations start with “I have a question” or more often, “I have a problem”.
