Storm The Beach 50K

I hope that you can join us Saturday September 22nd as we Storm the Beach for this inaugural unique distance event!!  This is a timed 50K Run that will begin at 8pm and have a 11 hour time limit to complete.  The course will consist of 4 loops of approx 7.5 - 8 miles  - consisting of sidewalks, gravel paths and even a mile of beach (thus the name).  All participants will receive an event shirt (If they sign up by 9/7/18) and all runners who complete the distance within the time limit will receive a finishers medal.  Being a nighttime event, for safety purposes, all participants must wear headlamps and reflective vests.  We also strongly encourage folks to buddy up and do it with a friend or group. We will have food and beverages provided from local eateries and be raffling off some great items from our sponsors. Early registration is $45 through 7/3/18, after that registration goes up to $60.  So register early, its less than a $1 per Kilometer : )  Race

Tryin' to Reason With Hurricane Season:  All proceeds from this event will be given as a donation to hurricane relief (https://loveforlovecity.org/) for the US/British Virgin Islands. This area of the Caribbean was devastated by two category 5 hurricanes last fall and it will take years to rebuild their infrastructure.   Your assistance will positively impact the lives of people on these islands and every little bit helps.  It's an area of the world that I have had the great privilege to travel extensively and one of my favorite places.  I thank you for your support and hope you can join us for the fun.  - Daniel @Black Dog Running Co
