The Driveway Doc: A Tribute to Dr. Matt Roberson

Join us in honoring the life of Dr. Matt Roberson, a beloved Powdersville/Piedmont community member and orthopedic surgeon.

Matt was renowned for his unwavering kindness and dedication to helping others. His generosity extended far beyond the operating room, as he often provided medical care and advice to his neighbors, particularly the young athletes from the nearby Wren Youth Association, often directly from his driveway.   Matt showed what it means to be kind and to serve his neighbor.

Tragically, Matt passed away from colon cancer in January, leaving behind a grieving family and a community in shock. To honor his legacy, we are hosting the "Driveway Doc: Matt Roberson Memorial 5K." This event aims to celebrate Matt's life and continue his spirit of giving by supporting Let There Be Mom and the Powdersville YMCA, two organizations that were very close to Matt’s heart. Let's come together to remember a remarkable man and the character traits that we should all strive to emulate.
