Description
It's back! Join us the first weekend in March for the season's most exciting challenge:
The Krispy Kreme Race - Run 4 Reading!
The run consists of a 4 mile loop beginning and ending at the downtown Rock Hill Fountain Park with a brief stop on the campus of Winthrop University, where participants have the option to be "challenged" to down a dozen donuts (half a dozen for those kiddos aged "14 and under") as fast as they can before racing back to the finish line.
Don't worry if you weren't blessed with an iron stomach, we also have a Casual 4 Mile Run that gets you in on all the action but spares you the sugar high. If a 4 mile run is not your thing, grab some friends and join us for the Book Relay where four participants run 1 mile EACH and carry a children's book to the end of the the course. Last but not least, if you can't get your sleepy head out of your bed, register to be a Sleep-In Supporter and still get the cool T-Shirt!
Costumes encouraged and donuts available for all!
It’s all for a good cause too! Proceeds from the race benefit The Early Learning Partnership of York County, a nonprofit organization established to develop and promote programs that support school readiness of children ages five and under in York County, South Carolina.
