For the Love of a Paw 5K Benefit

Lake Marion Golf Course and Santee Cooper Country Club Golf are sponsoring this 5K race benefiting For the Love of a Paw 501(c) 3 animal rescue.  

For the Love of a Paw is a 501(c)3 working toward effective management of the domestic animal
population in Orangeburg and Calhoun Counties through education, rescue, TNR (trap, neuter, and release), and owner services.

The rescue was founded in April 2016 when it was discovered that 90 percent of cats and kittens
taken in by animal control were being euthanized. The population is growing and they are

suffering. We tackle this problem one heartbeat at a time.
Last year we placed 175 cats and kittens and 27 dogs into loving homes.
