Spartanburg Run for Babies 5k: Heroes Unite! by March of Dimes

JOIN US FOR THE 3RD ANNUAL SPARTANBURG RUN FOR BABIES 5K!

Every family deserves the best possible start. But that’s just not the case. Each year, one woman dies every 12 hours from pregnancy-related causes, and 1 in 9 babies in South Carolina is born too soon. With your help, we can change that. We are focused on one thing: helping more moms and babies be healthy and strong. Our annual March for Babies and Run for Babies Campaigns are our largest weapon against the heartaches that exist in maternal and infant health. We are looking forward to a day where every mom and baby is healthy regardless of wealth, race, geography, or race. We need your help to make that happen. We engage our local community with sponsorship opportunities, employee giving campaigns, volunteer engagement, advocacy efforts, and more.

What: Join us for the Spartanburg Run for Babies 5k!  This 5k benefits March of Dimes and the incredible work they do each and every day.  Our theme this year is HEROES UNITE, so dress in your Superhero best to Run for Babies! The event will start with our Superhero Sprint for the kids at 8:40am and then the March for Babies 5k run/walk at 9:00am.  Each child attending will receive a superhero cape. We will also have a stroller decorating area for you! The 5k race will begin at 9:00am before our March for Babies walkers and take you around Duncan Park in Spartanburg.  We will conclude in the park area.

• Awards for the Top 3 Finishers in each age group (male and female)
