Friday Night Lights 5K Update
The Friday Night Lights 5K is being postponed until the fall football season. New date TBA.
Due to rain and lightning in the area, local law enforcement and race officials have made the decision to put participant safety first. The race team will be reaching out shortly with cancellation details and will share the new fall date once finalized.
Lord knows we needed the rain, though. 🌧️

Celebrate the end of the school year and kick off your Memorial Day Weekend with the Devil Dogs! Run or walk with us to raise money for the Travelers Rest High School Football team.
This fundraiser supports more than just football—it helps build a gold standard program in Travelers Rest that unites all ages, strengthens community pride, and provides the necessary resources needed to develop a superior student athlete experience.
Safety and fun are both covered, with a City of Travelers Rest Police escort keeping your sprint smooth from start to finish. Then stick around for a post-race hangout with music and fun for the whole family.
If you're racing for bling, we've got top 3 age group awards, and with chip timing plus live results, your finish time hits the board instantly. PR and then party!

When: Friday, May 22nd
Time: Race Starts at 6:00pm (Packet Pickup opens at 5:00pm)
Bonus: 200-Meter Fun Run for kids 12 & under right after the 5K start!

The race begins with a zooming downhill mile, winds through the scenic neighborhoods of Travelers Rest, and finishes near the Trailblazer Park amphitheater and farmers market pavilion.
