We also host a Silent Litter Carry (SLC) walk of the course to honor the “22 a day” initiative for veterans lost to suicide. When the litter team reaches Memorial Park on Main Street (in front of the courthouse), they stop, kneel, share a prayer, and Taps is played.
There is also a Memorial Ceremony at the Walhalla Performing Arts venue at 12:00 PM. We’d love to help connect runners and spectators to this ceremony as part of a full morning of remembrance.
Perfect for businesses who want to support veterans and show up in a big way for the community.
