The Bike Shop tour is an experience for all ability levels. Circumnavigate Mt Kilimanjaro with this 59 mile long challenge. Bike, run, or walk. Crowdfund to compete for prizes awarded to the individual and team with the most funds raised.

Kili Climb: Altitude Challenge, 16,082 feet elevation change/26.8 miles distance

Take globalbike's altitude challenge and cycle up Mt Kilimanjaro, with a 16,082 altitude change. Upload your performance data to compete for a Canyon Bicycle swag bag, CTS TrainRight Membership (3 months), and Rouvy subscription (3 months). Receive emails and content from globalbike at key milestones along the way.

Key Milestones on The Kili Climb: Receive content about climbing Mount Kilimanjaro at key milestones. When you reach a milestone, check your email to receive content from globalbike. Keep climbing to the top -- when you reach the summit you'll receive video content that will give you a virtual experience of cycling up Mount Kilimanjaro.

Kili to the Coast: Distance Challenge, 239.2 miles 

- Take globalbike's distance challenge and ride from Moshi, Tanzania at the base of Mt Kilimanjaro all the way to Tanzania's beautiful coast on the Indian Ocean. Upload your performance data to compete for a trip prize -- TDA Global Cycling's Masai Steppe -- a section of the Tour D'Afrique extending from Nairobi, Kenya to Mbeya in Tanzania. 

Key Milestones on The Kili to the Coast Race: Receive video content on your ride at key milestones. When you reach a milestone, check your email to unlock video content that will provide you with a virtual experience of traveling in Tanzania.

• 157 miles -- Lushoto
• 239.2 miles -- Goal! Pangani Town on the Coast
   

$35 includes all rides-- 100% of your ticket supports globalbike and women-run biking businesses in Tanzania

Ask friends and family to make a donation to your ride:

$200 contributes a bicycle to a women-owned bike rental cooperative that serves the 50% of the rural poor who cannot afford to buy bikes but who with a rental bike can increase their small business incomes by 25-57%.

$500 provides a woman with the tools and training needed to become a bike mechanic and generate regular income by working at her local bike rental cooperative.

$1000 or more helps construct buildings that house rental shops, and can also provide technology to support women mechanics in cost effective management of bike rental shops.

1) Go to runsignup.com. Click on the upper right hand corner avatar and then click "Profile"

2) Scroll down to section titled "Upcoming Events"

3) When you see Race to Kilimanjaro, click on "Manage Registration" link underneath the link to Submit Virtual Results

4) Scroll to the very bottom of the screen to find the menu. Click on the word "Fundraiser"

5) This will take you to a page with 3 options: Become a Fundraiser, Join a Fundraiser, or Create a Team Fundraiser. Scroll down to select team options.

DESKTOP

1) Go to runsignup.com. Click on the upper right hand corner avatar and then click "Profile"

2) Underneath Main Account Information, click on the first tab on the left called "Upcoming Events"

3) You'll see "Race to Kilimanjaro" and to the right of the event there are 5 links in blue. Click on "Manage Registration"

4) This leads you to a page where you can click on the word "Fundraiser" in the gray banner on the upper right hand corner

5) This will take you to a page with 3 options: Become a Fundraiser, Join a Fundraiser, or Create a Team Fundraiser. Scroll down to select team options.
