Duke Island Park, Bridgewater, NJ

EVENT SCHEDULE

  • 7:30 AM - Packet Pickup Opens

  • 9:00 AM - 5K Starts

  • 9:45 AM - Kids Sprints 

  • 10:00 PM - Awards 

WALKERS WELCOME

Yes, this 5K is walker friendly!

 

PARKING

There is ample parking within Duke Island Park. Some lots will be closed off until the race has finished. Lot A will be the easiest to exit. 

IN-PERSON REGISTRATION


You can register online up to and including race day. There is no paper registration. 


RESULTS

Timing by Split Second Racing. Recrods will be set in 2026! (Link coming soon)

BATHROOMS

Race participants will use the indoor bathrooms provided at Duke Island Park.

 

BAG CHECK

There is no bag check as parking is available in close proximity to the start / finish. 


WATER STOP

The 5K will have one water stop. Carrying your own water is strongly encouraged to reduce our environmental impact.

MEDALS & AWARDS

All finishers will receive a finisher's medal. 

The top 3 overall (male, female and nonbinary) participants will receive an award. We have awards three deep (male, female) - 9 and under, 10 to 14, 15 to 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90+. The awards ceremony will be at 10:00 AM. Those unable to stay will be permitted to pick up their prize in advance of the ceremony once the results are confirmed. 


DOGS & STROLLERS

As a USATF sanctioned Grand Prix event, dogs on leashes and strollers are not permitted in the race. 

RACE TIPS

  • Line up at the start according to your predicted pace per mile. Runners in the front who are not a sub 6:00 min/mile runner may slow the start of the race and be a hazard. Walkers please line up behind runners. 
  • If you must stop during the race, please move to the side of the road to avoid accidents or tripping.
  • At the water stop, please move to the side if you are stopping.
  • If you need medical attention, ask any course marshal to call 911.
