We are excited to announce our new Bull Run Virtual Run, which will take the place of the traditional Bull Run in 2020. The Virtual Race will be July 23 - 27 and is open to everyone!
The Bull Run proceeds benefit YMCA programs and provide financial assistance to youth and families that may not otherwise be able to afford a Y membership and all it has to offer. Our YMCA programs are for Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.
WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RUN?
In a virtual run, you will run whatever distance you register for on your own, or with family or a friend (making sure to follow social distancing guidelines). Your run does not have to follow the normal race route, and it can be run anywhere in the world.
You will want to keep track of your time for the Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and insure you run at least the minimum distance of the race you register for.
When finished with your run, you submit your time for the applicable races using the different options listed below.
The time frame for completing the run is from July 23 - July 27. You can submit your race result as of 12:01 am. on July 23. Your last chance to submit your results are Sunday, July 27 at 11:59 p.m.
If you are currently registered for the Bull Run, you do not need to register for the virtual run! The virtual run will be free to you.

Students 18 years old and younger receive a $5 discount off the adult rate on their individual registration for the Half Marathon, 10K and 5K.
Families can register together under a Family Registration Rate by clicking the Multi-Person Pricing link on the Signup page.
Tshirts will be available for pickup during business hours at the Aberdeen YMCA starting August 7th
Those who would like to receive their race shirt via mail can choose that option during the registration process for an additional $3.00. Your shirt would be mailed out after August 7th if the shipping option is chosen.
You may submit your time for the Half Marathon, 10K and 5K between July 23 and July 27, 2020. Times are not collected for the 2 Mile Walk and the Munchkin Run
There will be various ways to submit your time including clicking the Results button above or click here. Click Here for a detailed explanation of the various options for submitting your time or if you are having trouble submitting a time.
You can take a screenshot/photo of your time and race route using an app like Strava or Garmin, if you have that available, in case we run into any issues or need to verify your run. But that is not required. And, don’t forget to take a great selfie to include on a Facebook post.
Pickle Events will compile the results.
Results will be available for the Half Marathon, 10K and 5K at the Results Link from July 23-27. After July 27th, you can find overall results and age group results for those races, as well as a Finisher’s Certificate, at www.pickleevents.com/r/2020/bullrun. You will also receive an email with a link to the results site at that time.
Everyone that registers receives a Bull Run t-shirt!
