PLEASE NOTE: If you select the bib mailing option during registration your deferral deadline is different than the dates listed above. The deferral deadline for those selecting the regular bib mailing option is AUGUST 26TH.

Notes on Downgrades and Upgrades:
1. You will not receive a credit or refund for any difference in price paid on downgrades.
2. If the new event is at a higher price, you will be charged any difference in registration fee from when you originally signed up to the current price.
Race registration fees (and the processing charge from RunSignup) are not refundable. These funds are used to pay for race premiums, permits, supplies, staffing, and other costs incurred before, during, and after the event is held. To be consistent and fair to everyone we cannot make exceptions to this policy.

Although we love dogs, they are not allowed on the race course.
Strollers are allowed for the 5K but are strictly prohibited for the Half Marathon and 10K due to the crossing of the Hatem Bridge.
The Half Marathon race has a course time limit of 14:00 min/mile average pace. This time limit is strictly enforced, and is necessary to clear the bridge and return to the normal traffic pattern.
The 10k race has a course time limit of 14:00 min/mile average pace. This time limit is strictly enforced, and is necessary to clear the bridge and return to the normal traffic pattern.
The 5k race has a course time limit of 1 hour 15 minutes (24:08/mile pace).
Headphones or earbuds are allowed but we ask that you either use open ear headphones (like Shokz which you can purchase at Charm City Run :)). If you use other headphones, please keep the volume low so you can hear all course directions from course marshals.
Yes, someone can pick up your packet for you. They will just need your Registration QR code that you can find either in your registration confirmation email or pre-race email.

All registrations are online and available up until the race starts or until the race is sold out.
The start and finish lines for the Half Marathon and 5K are all in the vicinity of Millard Tydings Park in Havre de Grace, Maryland.
The finish line for the 10K is the same as the Half Marathon and 5K however the 10K starts in Perryville, MD:
10K Start Location: VA Medical Center - Ave A & 10th Ave, Perryville, Maryland
10K - ***ALL RUNNERS MUST TAKE A BUS TO THE START LINE*** Buses load from Tydings Park in Havre de Grace, MD and drop off at the 10K start on the VA property. The last bus leaves Tydings Park at 7:40 - NO EXCEPTIONS.
We ask all runners to PLAN AHEAD AND ARRIVE AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE! There is ample street parking in Havre de Grace to park all of our runners.
Remember - All 10K runners MUST park in Havre de Grace and ride the race shuttle buses to the 10K start. There is NO RACE PARKING or access to the 10K start area in Perryville for private vehicles.
If you are getting dropped off at the 5K/Half Marathon start, the designated drop off location is on Giles Street, just prior to South Stokes St. This is adjacent to the bus drop off location. Please pull out of the drive lane and stay out of the way of the buses.
A bag check is provided for runners. We will have clear bag available at packet pickup for this purpose, as well as at the bag check areas on race day. For security purposes please use these clear bags for bag check. Your bib will have a tear off tag with your bib number, and zip ties will be provided to seal your bag and attach to the tag. Bag check will open at 6:30am and close at 11:30am. There will also be a bag check at the 10K start and your bags will be delivered to the finish.
There are six aid stations on the Half Marathon course counting the start/finish and the 10K start. Each aid station has water, electrolyte drink, and a portable restroom. There are two aid stations out on the 5K course.
There will be 3 medical aid stations - Tydings Park, 10K start (half mile 6.9), and Craig Park (1.2 miles to go on all races). Please plan on bringing any additional nutrition needs with you on race day.
The following items are prohibited on the course: backpacks of any type (EXCEPT those solely for hydration), runners going backwards, jump ropes, animals, selfie sticks, glass containers, weapons of any kind, explosives, facemasks, drones, animals/pets (except service animals to aid a person with a disability), and flags/signs larger than 11″x17″.
No wheeled vehicles are allowed other than official race vehicles. No exceptions! This includes: bicycles, roller skates, in-line skates, skateboards, and other wheeled devices. The Race Director reserves the right to disallow additional items at any time.
Cups are strictly prohibited on the Hatem Bridge, and must be disposed of prior to crossing.
Your race number must be worn on your front and must be visible at all times.
DO NOT exchange or give your race number to another participant.
Jogging strollers are only permitted in the 5K.
Yes - all finishers in the Susquehanna River Running festival will receive a finishers medal. Shirts/Premiums will be handed out at packet pickup and are also included with registration.
Pacers will be provided for the Half Marathon. They will have signage indicating anticipated finish times. Pace groups will be available for the following finish times (1:40; 1:45; 1:50; 1:55; 2:00; 2:05; 2:10; 2:20, 2:30, 2:40) - finish times are subject to change and will be finalized in the pre-race emails.
Charm City Run is proud to again be partnering with ChessiePhoto to provide runners with FREE race-day photography. Photos will be available for download 1-2 days after the race.
Photography from our staff photographer will be posted on our Instagram and Facebook in the coming weeks.
Note for Half/10K runners: The Perry Point Veterans Affairs campus is an active hospital, and there may be patients outside during the event. Pictures of patients, or with patients in the background, are strictly prohibited. Since it can be difficult to tell who might be a patient, do not take photos of anyone on the VA property.
