The Course
Please Note: The final course route and timing stations are still being finalized. The below information is from Saddle2Surf 2023, and there will be minor changes in the upcoming weeks.
The route for this run begins in Norco, CA at Neal Snipes Park (right next to 100 Mile Club HQ!) and hits Huntington Beach close to the Main St Pier. Yes, a large portion of the course is ran along the Santa Ana River Trail. The actual course is subject to change at any moment due to road closures, construction, and other variables. It is our goal to keep this route as consistent as possible and communicate changes as they arise.
Because this event is held in urban areas across Southern California, it is imperative that you confidently learn the course prior to the race. Any course markings placed on the course will be tampered with, removed, and altered beyond our control, so you and your crew are your best assets.
This run is 100% crew-supported. No aid stations or drop bags; you'll only find a start line, time/bracelet stations, and the finish. Each runner must have a support crew of at least two members, with two legally licensed drivers, and only one four-wheeled vehicle on the course. Choose your vehicle wisely—you'll be navigating small streets with very limited parking, making frequent turns and U-turns to support your runner.
