Six San Antonio charities will be the beneficiaries of donations by participating company teams. Haven for Hope, YMCA, South Texas Blood & Tissue, Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio, University Health Blood Donor Services and San Antonio Sports will all be accepting and recording donations from January 1 - May 15.
Donations must be made directly to each charity, not through any partner agencies or through any third-party donations, i.e. The Big Give. Only employee donations will count. Up to two times an employee’s donation through a company match will count, but company grants cannot be converted to Corporate Cup points. There are two blood donation charities. Cumulative points will be awarded for blood donations based on the total number of donors.
Each charity will rank participating teams, within their respective divisions, in order of their donated amounts, after which San Antonio Sports will award points towards the overall Corporate Cup competition. Please make sure you specify Corporate Cup when setting up your drive so the charities have an accurate count.
New to this year’s event, teams will have an exclusive opportunity to register and donate in person to our six charities at the March 28 5k. Location to be determined and more information coming soon.
