Jaxxon Naksue’s Story: A Little Warrior’s Fight Against Biliary Atresia
Born in 2021, Jaxxon Naksue Douangsouphonh-Johnson quickly faced a life-threatening battle with biliary atresia, undergoing surgery at just 32 days old and spending years on feeding tubes, hospital stays, and the transplant list. In July 2023, his mother became his living donor, giving him 30% of her liver in a successful transplant that transformed his future. Today, Jaxxon is thriving—riding bikes, practicing martial arts, and enjoying the childhood his family once only prayed for. True to his Laotian middle name Naksue, meaning “warrior,” he embodies strength, resilience, and hope every single day.
