Join us on Thanksgiving Day for the Santa Rosa Turkey Trot! Once again, we will gather at Old Courthouse Square in Santa Rosa on the one day that it's totally quiet there. NEW COURSE in 2025! We had a new course for 2024 but the rain got in the way. This year, we're going to run it! The course is now a flat figure eight that takes you through town, out onto the Prince Memorial Greenway and then home.

These are chip-timed races on a flat course that has both pavement and packed dirt. Come and run or cheer. Or both! 

Costumes are welcome, so break out your turkey suit, and let's go! 

You can pick up your shirt and bib at three different times:

• Tuesday, November 25 Fleet Feet Santa Rosa, 720 Third Street, Santa Rosa  10am - 5pm
• Wednesday, November 26 Fleet Feet Santa Rosa, 720 Third Street, Santa Rosa 10am - 5pm 
• Thursday, November 27 6:30- 8:30am at the Start/Finish, Old Courthouse Square (directions - see our note about parking in Garage 12 on race morning.)

You're welcome to pickup for friends and family. Bring your post-race email to speed things up, but don't worry if you don't have it. We can take you however you are!

New this year, we have streamlined our races. Here are the ways to take part:

• The Turkey Trot 5k is  a 5k race that you can run, jog, or walk. Whether you're a steely competitor or just looking to walk with your family, this is for you. Finish with a smile on your face! This starts at 8:30am.
• The TINY Turkey is a short run around the lawn at Old Courthouse Square for children under 5. This is a 50-yard dash that's very fun. Get your camera/cell phone ready!

The race start times are:

• The Turkey Trot 5k start at 8:30am
• The TINY Turkey starts at 9:30am

Santa Rosa Turkey Trot is a Learning is Open event. Learning is Open is a 501c3 non-profit. This event benefits the Redwood Empire Food Bank.
