COURSE SAFETY
Safety is our first priority!
We ♥ love ♥ dogs however, due to the number of race participants and for participants' safety, we strongly discourage people from bringing dogs to the race.
The race will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. The starting line is at War Memorial Park.
Walkers, please move to the back of the starting line and walk along the side of the race route to allow runners a clear path to get their fastest time.
A water stop will be located near the halfway point at the Sewickley Borough Building.
Sewickley Borough Police and volunteers will patrol the course to stop traffic. Participants should expect minimal but general public traffic during the race. There may be instances of vehicles needing to cross through the course. Please listen to course volunteers for directions and safety warnings.
There will be mile markers and race day volunteers on the course to help ensure you stay on the appropriate route.
After you have completed the race, you must exit by crossing the t-ball field and walking through the YMCA upper parking lot, directly below War Memorial Park. Participants will not be allowed to exit on Blackburn Road.
