Saturday Feeding Frenzy & Sunday Shark Bite Half have Top 10% Finisher hats. These are given to the Top 10% in each gender based on registered participants.

Saturday morning the Feeding Frenzy 5k will start near the front of Fleet Feet NSB:

With the increased amount of people wanting to run with their dogs, we are having to limit the only animals allowed are Service Animals.
The Shark Bite Half Marathon has a hard time limit of 4 hours. This is 18:19 pace.
The Shark Bite Expo will take place on Orange Ave, in front of Fleet Feet NSB. The Shark Bite Expo will be on Saturday from 6:30 am - 12:00 (noon).

Yes, you will need to know the Participants Bib Number, and have an email or text from participants giving permission. It is also easy if you have them send you a picture of their Drivers License.
Yes, but if and only if the race has not sold out. Many years one of more events sell out before race day.
Saturday Feeding Frenzy 5k has one water station at the halfway point of the course.
Sunday Shark Bite 5k has one water station close to the 2 mile mark on the course.
Sunday Shark Bite Half Marathon has 6 water stations out on course. They are on or near the 2 mile, 4 mile, 6 mile, 8 mile, 10 mile and 12 mile marks.
Saturday Feeding Frenzy 5k will have water and an electrolyte drink. There is no portable bathroom on course.
Sunday Shark Bite 5k will have water and an electrolyte drink. There is no portable bathroom on course.
Sunday Shark Bite Half will have water, electrolyte drink, and portable bathrooms at every water station. Starting at mile 8, the water stations will also have some gels. Mile marker 8 water station is the Gel Station.
Both Saturday and Sunday are in Historic Districts. There is street parking, parking lots, etc. It is a first come first serve scenario. Please abide by all official signs and laws.
Yes, each race has a specific shirt and specific medal. If you do both days, you will get multiple shirts and medals.
We do have top 10% Finisher Hats.
Saturday in the Feeding Frenzy 5k the Top 10% Men and the Top 10% Women will each get an awesome high quality hat. The 10% is based off of participants registered and the amount per gender.
Sunday in the Shark Bite Half (not the 5k) the Top 10% Men and the Top 10% Women will each get an awesome high quality hat. The 10% is based off of participants registered and the amount per gender.
Yes, the Shark Bite Half will have pacers.
In the past, we have had Pacers for the following times:
1:40, 1:50, 2:00, 2:15, 2:30, 2:45, 3:00
The Pacers will be from WVR Pace Team
Yes, we have photographers out on all the courses and finish lines. These pictures will be FREE and available not long after the event.

Awards will go to Top 3 Male & Female, Top Masters Male & Female in every race.
Top 3 in Age Groups will receive Awards. Here is the breakdown:
Both 5ks: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

Shark Bite Weekend is excited to host two different Race Challenges:
Half Challenge: This Challenge is made up of the Saturday Feeding Frenzy 5k and the Sunday Shark Bite Half. Participants will receive a shirt for each day (two shirts) a awesome Finisher medal for each day (two medals), a pint glass for each day (two pint glasses), a Huge Challenge Medal, plus the Half Magnet.
5k Challenge: This Challenge is made up of the Saturday Feeding Frenzy 5k and the Sunday Shark Bite 5k. Participants will receive a shirt for each day (two shirts) a awesome Finisher medal for each day (two medals), a pint glass for each day (two pint glasses), and a Huge Challenge Medal.
Every participant will receive a super soft t-shirt, the best Finish Medal, a race sticker, a logo'd pint glass, branded bib and so much more. All participants of age will receive a beer. Sunday participants receive Flagler Ave Pizza.
On Saturday the Shark Bite Expo will still be going on with many vendors and local businesses. Each participant can enjoy traditional post race snacks (bananas, bars, pretzels, cookies, etc) and a beer.
On Sunday many of the same vendors will be at the Post Race Celebration. Each participant can enjoy the above traditional post race snacks, a beer, Flagler Ave Pizza all while taking on the Mechanical Shark.
The Shark Bite Half pays $500 for a course record.

The Shark Bite Half Team Championship is where you and 3+ of your friends race as a team. The top 3 people on your team will count toward your total time. Team with the fastest time wins 5 free entries to the following years race.
There is a male and female division. No co-ed.
