Yes! All racers age 1 and up who are running or walking in the Family Fun Race are required to have a ticket, unless they are already registered for the 5K or 10K. If you haven't yet purchased a ticket, please register here.

Yes, the 10K and 5K both have a deadline of 1 hour 40 minutes.

We will have two early packet pickups available on Thursday, October 22 in the valley from 4 -7pm and in LA Metro from 4:30-7pm. More details coming soon!

If someone else picks up your packet they will need:

1) A copy of your ID (digital or print), and

2) Printed signed copy of the waiver.

No bibs will be given out without this. We are required to be strict on this, and apologize for the inconvenience.

If you are a minor, you must have your waiver signed by your parent and your photo ID (student IDs are ok). For minors who don’t have/are too young for a photo ID, you must bring a copy of your parent's photo ID (digital or printed copy is ok).

Yes! Just make sure to allow enough time on race day to wait in line at check in. Recommended arrival times are 7:00 am for 5K/10K and 8:30 am for the Family Fun Race.

If you haven't registered prior to race day, you're welcome to join us on race day, however, we may sell out of some t-shirt sizes. Registration can be done online or in person on or before race day.

Freeway Route from 405N and 405S: Take the 105 Imperial Hwy past LAX towards the beach. Beach entry is at the end of Imperial Hwy where it passes Vista Del Mar.
City Streets from North: Take Pershing Drive south (NOTE ** Vista Del Mar will be closed North of Imperial Highway on race morning) until it hits Imperial Hwy. Make a right into the beach entry.
City Streets from South: Take Vista Del Mar north until it hits Imperial Hwy. Make a left into the beach entry.

Free parking: The first 200 cars will receive a free parking pass. Parking is $13 per car. Please have cash available to expedite process.
When you arrive: Please let the parking attendant know that you are with the event and be prepared with cash. The line to pay and park will get backed up so please arrive early.

Lots for parking: After you pay turn right and follow the road. There are three parking lots. We recommend parking in the 2nd lot. The 2nd lot is a 5 minute walk to the race start line and festival.

There is very limited parking in the 3rd lot and it is reserved for volunteers and those who require wheelchairs or other special needs. All race distances end in the 3rd and last lot. There is no exit from the 3rd lot while the event is going on. Anyone parked in the third lot will have to wait to leave until all races are complete. No vehicles will be able to leave the third lot before 10:30am.

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed. LA County does not allow dogs on the beach.

Yes, there will be gear check available in the event festival. 

Yes, there will be porta-potties by the event festival entrance/exit. There are also public beach restrooms available. 

Yes, there will be 2 water stations. 

Finisher Medals

• In-Person Participants: Yes! All in-person finishers will receive a medal as they cross the finish line.

Race Shirts

• In-Person Participants:

  • Registered by October 7th: Guaranteed a shirt in your requested size at packet pickup or on race day.

  • Registered after October 7th: Shirts are first-come, first-served while supplies and sizes last.

• Virtual Participants:

  • Registered by October 7th: Guaranteed a shirt, which will be mailed directly to you.
