Shine On: A Colorful Tribute to Kenzie is scheduled for May 17, 2025.
What races are offered?
We offer a 2K walk/run and 5K run.
How can I register?
Registration is available Online or by Paper Registration.
What is the cost of the race?
Entry fees vary depending on the race and the time of year you plan to register. Once registration opens, it will continue until a race closes.
What does my registration fee go towards?
Funds raised will be used to update the walking track behind FKS, as well as to donate to the family. Following the update, the track will be re-dedicated in memory of Kenzie. She is missed by so many in the community, and updating and re-dedicating the walking track will be a meaningful way to remember and connect with her for many years to come.

Do you allow participants to walk in the races?
Absolutely, we love walkers!
Can I run or walk with a baby jogger or stroller?
As the course followed is a cross country course, use of a stroller is not recommended.
What is the color blast powder? And what is like running through a Color Zone?
Our color blast powder is all certified non-toxic. Our bright colors are a combination of Cornstarch, Corn Flour, Food-grade Sodium Bicarbonate, Cosmetic-grade dyes, FDA-approved colorants and is environmental friendly.
If you would like, walkers and runners can wear glasses or goggles for their eyes and use a bandana or dust mask for their mouths. Our Color Zone volunteers make sure to aim low as you pass by.
Will the color ruin my clothes or running shoes?
The color mostly washes out after the event. As with anything dirty, the sooner you wash it the better. It’s best to wear items that you wouldn’t mind getting colorful.
Can I get a refund if I cannot participate?
Unfortunately we do not offer refunds for any of the events. Costs associated with the pre-planning and ordering of participant amenities well in advance of the race prohibit us from offering refunds. In addition, refunds are not issued if the event is cancelled due to severe weather, disaster or emergency occurrences that may affect the safety and health of the participants.
