Shootout for Soldiers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization dedicated to using lacrosse as a platform to support Veterans and First Responders, while creating community engagement. 

While most of our players join with a team, if you reach out to help@shootoutforsoldiers.com, we can find a team for you to play with! 

We ask that you just field a full lacrosse team. If you cannot find enough players, no worries; we can help you find some players, or we can play in a different format, like Sixes or Sevens. 

Shootout for Soldiers emphasizes community, camaraderie, and supporting veterans over competition. While games are played with enthusiasm, the focus is on participation, sportsmanship, and making a difference.

Absolutely! Spectators are encouraged to attend throughout the event. Admission is typically free, and many locations feature food vendors, raffles, auctions, family activities, and opportunities to meet local veterans.

Volunteers are essential to every event. Opportunities include registration, field operations, hospitality, merchandise, setup, breakdown, photography, fundraising, and veteran engagement.

Businesses of all sizes can support Shootout for Soldiers through sponsorships, in-kind donations, or event partnerships. Sponsorship opportunities provide valuable community exposure while helping support our mission.

Yes! Donations can be made online at any time. You can also support a specific team or participant through their fundraising page.
