- What is the Raven Resolution Challenge?

 

The Raven Resolution Challenge is a month long event where you pick a goal that inspires you, whether that be 25, 50, 100, or 150 miles. You have the entire month of January to complete your goal.

To complete your goal you can walk, hike, or run your favorite route on the trails, in your neighborhood, at the gym, under the winter afternoon sunshine or under the snow covered trees at night.

- How long do I have to complete my Raven Resolution Challenge?

 

You have from January 1st, 2021 to January 31st, 2021 to complete your challenge goal. 

- Do I have to complete my goal in one run? 

 

You do not have to complete your goal in one run. You can complete your goal mileage in as many runs as needed.

- How long do I have to upload my results?

 

You will have from January 1st, 2021 - January 31st, 2021 to upload your results.

- How will I pickup my event packet? 

 

We’re doing a mid-event bib pickup and shipping date so those who join us part way in can come get their packet too. Our awesome local screen printer, Stellar Designs will have your shirt ready the second week of January. You will have a digital bib to download and a bib assigned when you register.

Get your packet, or let your packet get you! You can choose to pick your packet up in-person, or have it mailed to you.

Shipping within Alaska is included in your entry fee, shipping to the rest of the United States or APO addresses will add $5.

In-person Pickup:
Saturday, January 16
11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

- How do I upload my mileage and complete activities?

You can also use the RaceJoy app to log your mileage towards your goal. This can be downloaded on any mobile device. Here is a link with information about RaceJoy: https://www.racejoy.net/    

Race Joy allows you to:
- Automatically track your progress and distance on any course you choose.
- Automatically post your results to the online event results
- Allow your family and friends to track your progress and send you cheers.
- Hear GPS progress alerts and pre-set cheers as you complete along your route

- Do I have a bib? 

 

Each virtual participant will have a bib, physical bibs will be provided at the packet pickup and if your swag is being shipped. Bibs will be assigned on December 31st, 2020. 

To find your bib number log into your RunSignup profile and view and/or download your personalized virtual bib.You will also receive a real, paper bib with registration.

- Virtual Run Safety Policy 

 

Participants must abide by the Center for Disease Control (CDC)'s recommendations for the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 and attest to having read the CDC's guidance at: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prepare/prevention.html.  Participants must also follow local, state and federal regulations regarding preventing the spread of COVID-19 for their region. Participants must abide by all pedestrian safety ordinances including running on a sidewalk where available and not in the road.  If there is no sidewalk or multi-use trail is available participants must run against oncoming traffic and not with traffic.
