To ensure the safety of all participants and to maintain our permits with the City of Pikeville, please adhere to the following:

• Important Course Rules
  • Sidewalk Policy: For your safety, runners must remain on the sidewalk at all times once you leave the Second Street start area.
  • Timing & Compliance: To maintain a fair and safe race environment, staying on the designated sidewalk path is required to receive an official finish time. Please note that leaving the sidewalk for the roadway (except while on Second Street) will result in a disqualification.
  • Intersections: These are rolling stops due to the time of day and access to area businesses.  At times runners may be asked to stop at the intersection.
  • Second Street Exception: Runners have full use of the roadway on Second Street during the start and the final sprint to the finish.
