Summits Trail Runs

HPRS is committed towards continuing to build and foster our community of trail and ultrarunners.
We welcome everyone to join us for our community campout the night's before and after the race!

Camping for this event will be held on site in the Granby Ranch Resort maintenance parking lot in Granby, CO. This is the large dirt/gravel parking area near the maintenance shed for Granby Ranch Resort ski area.

You are welcome to sleep in a tent (no larger than 4 person tents please), Tent camping will be held inside of the parking lot, on a gravel/dirt surface, and is available to you for a nominal fee (see below).

The camping fee is $20/night if you bring your own tent, and $40/night to rent an HPRS 2-person tent (see the other option).
Camping in your vehicle, rooftop tent, camping trailer, or camper van is a different FEE.. please purchase an "RV SITE" if using one of these options.
A portion of tent sales will go towards mitigation of the affects of our camping on the area vegetation, and local trail work projects initiated by HPRS. 

If you want to purchase more than one night, please click "Add Another" and select your space for both nights by ensuring you have the appropriate space for Friday Night and for Saturday Night. 

By selecting and purchasing this option, you agree to the following conditions:

1.) You are only renting a tent space. You are responsible for bringing your own tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, pillow, and other accoutrements. 

2.) Sharing your tent space with another person is entirely up to you. HPRS does not match runners up with other tent mates. Splitting the cost of the tent space or not, is up to you and anyone you shall share your tent with. Your tent mate does not need to be another registered runner in the event. Should you be bringing a second tent, we ask you to please purchase an additional tent space. 

3.) HPRS reserves the right to remove you from the premises, and revoke your rental without refund, should you at all violate the HPRS Code of Conduct as detailed on our website. 

4.) Our campground will have mandatory quiet hours from 10p to 6a on Friday Night, and 10p to 6a on Saturday Night. During this time, we ask that you please be respectful and not disturb other campers within the area. During this time we ask that music not be played aloud, no cowbells, no cheering, and conversations need to maintain a minimal level.  

5.) By purchasing a tent space rental, your completed purchase signifies agreement of these terms and conditions. 

There are other lodging options in the Granby area, including dispersed camping on USFS lands where gates are open. Traditionally, gates in the area do not open until June 15th. Other lodging options must be taken care of on your own accord. 

CHOOSE THIS OPTION TO RENT A HPRS 2-PERSON TENT

This options allows you to rent an HPRS 2-Person Tent. By selecting and purchasing this option, you agree to the following conditions:

This options allows you to rent an HPRS 2-Person Tent. By selecting and purchasing this option, you agree to the following conditions:

1.) You are only renting a tent/shelter. You are responsible for bringing your own sleeping bag, sleeping pad, pillow, and other accouterments. 

2.) You are renting a 2-person tent. Sharing your tent space with another person is entirely up to you. HPRS does not match runners up with other tent mates. Splitting the cost of the tent or not, is up to you and anyone you shall share your tent with. Your tent mate does not need to be another registered runner in the event. Our 2-person tents are for a maximum of 2 persons ONLY, and should you wish to house a 3rd or more individuals, that a second tent be rented as well. 

3.) Should the tent be damaged while in your care, you will be charged a $300 replacement fee, and will not be allowed to run with us again until this fee is paid in full. Should you excessively soil the inside of the tent (mud, bodily fluids, etc) you will be charged a $75 cleaning fee, will not be allowed to run with us again until this fee is paid in full.

During this time, we ask that you please be respectful and not disturb other campers within the area. During this time we ask that music not be played aloud, no cowbells, no cheering, and conversations need to maintain a minimal level.  

5.) HPRS reserves the right to remove you from the premises, and revoke your rental without refund, should you at all violate the HPRS Code of Conduct as detailed on our website. 

6.) By purchasing a tent rental, your completed purchase signifies agreement of these terms and conditions.

You are welcome to sleep in your vehicle, rooftop tent, camper van, or camping trailer <16' in length. If sleeping in any of these or similar type recreational vehicles you will need to pay the RV fee per our agreement with the resort. 

The RV fee is $50/night if camping in your vehicle, rooftop tent, camping trailer, or camper van.

6.) GENERATORS ARE NOT ALLOWED! There are no electrical, water, or sewer hookups. Camping is primitive. There will be porta-potties on site. No running water.
