Description

Never Walk/Run Alone 5K benefiting Never Alone Food Pantry in Woodstock, GA.

This is a timed 5K Run and fun walk. All ages are welcome, as are strollers and dogs (on a 6-foot leash).

Registration: 

  • Prior to June 17: $25 registration fee 
  • Beginning June 17: $30 registration fee
  • A shirt is not guaranteed after June 10 at 11:59 pm. Registrations after that will receive a shirt while supplies last.
  • Online registration will be closed at midnight on Tuesday, June 26.
  • Walk-up registrations are welcome at early packet pick up or on day of race. (see below for times & locations)

Awards:

  • Overall 1st place 5K, male & female
  • Top three 5K finishers in the following age categories : under 12,13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 and over
  • Most Spirited Team 
  • Best Family/Team Costume
  • Top Fundraising Team

Pre Race Pick up: Etowah River Park Friday, June 28 from 4:00-6:30 pm - near the restrooms, look for the green balloons.

Race Day Pick up: At the Etowah River Park Amphitheater beginning at 7:00 am, with last registration being taken at 7:45 am. 

** In case of rain, the race will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.

About Never Alone, Inc.

Never Alone is a non profit Food Pantry located in Woodstock, GA. Each month, Never Alone Food Pantry serves approx. 300 families, putting over 18 tons of food into the cupboards of the food insecure in Cherokee County. They are a client choice facility, which means that those that are served get to choose the food and hygiene products that they take home.

Never Alone Inc.’s mission is to serve our neighbors who are in legitimate need of food and clothing assistance. We are dedicated to serving all persons regardless of creed, race, or gender, with love and dignity as we convey the encouraging message: When you encounter life’s struggles, you are “Never Alone.”
