We greatly appreciate the support for this race, and hope to see you on Saturday, 4/29/16!
Noah Wilson was diagnosed with cancer in April of 2014. This incredibly brave six year old boy endured countless tests, procedures, surgeries, chemo treatments, and much more – yet managed to do so without ever losing his sense of joy. With a maturity far beyond his years, Noah turned his illness into an opportunity to help other kids like him endure the trials and pains associated with the normal course of cancer treatments. Through his vision, Noah was able to turn his pain into a way to bring smiles to others.
Noah passed away in June of 2015, but not before starting his Bandage Project and making a huge difference in the world. In honor of Noah and his legacy, Noah's Bandage Project and Agape Montessori School are proud to bring you Noah's Crown Town 5K Run/Walk. All proceeds, donations of funds, and bandages collected from this race go to support Noah's Bandage Project, and their mission to help fund pediatric cancer research.
This family friendly race will take place on a flat, scenic route through Corporate Woods. Bring your friends and family out to support an amazing cause. Runners, walkers and stroller/wagon riders are all welcome join! For those in it to win it, the top runners will be honored in a ceremony following the race.
Not a fan of running or walking, but still want to help? Donations of funds and bandages are greatly appreciated. Click the donate tab to be a financial supporter.
All participants are challenged to collect bandages for NBP. See details under Bandage Collection.

Special Guest
We're excited to have special guest Eric Hosmer join us for this event! Noah and Eric met during the 2015 baseball season and have been buds ever since. Noah would cheer on Eric and the Royals, and Eric would cheer on Noah in his fight against cancer. Together, they have a special bond that makes them CHAMPIONS!!
Bandage Collection
In addition to participating in this 5K, we challenge you to collect bandages for Noah’s Bandage Project.
As a cancer patient, Noah Wilson discovered that a bandage is a pretty significant thing. Often times, kids are allowed to hold onto a bandage during uncomfortable procedures, and when they are all done, they get to put the bandage on as a final sign of completion. The plain old brown bandages get the job done, but they aren’t fun! Noah quickly recognized that the kids going through these treatments could really use all the fun they can get.
Help us continue to support Noah’s efforts in collecting cool/fun bandages for hospitals and families in need of some fun!
So here is the Challenge:
20 boxes of Bandages per individual
or
100 Boxes of bandages per team
Bring your bandages with you on race day!
Noah's Bandage Project
Noah’s Bandage Project has two goals – 1) to help provide cool and fun bandages to kids that need them, and 2) to help raise funds for pediatric cancer research
Noah's Bandage Project was started by Noah Wilson at the age of 6, who battled Ewing Sarcoma and AML Leukemia. Learn more at www.noahsbandageproject.com
Agape Montessori School
Noah Wilson was a former student of Agape Montessori School, who is proud to present this race. Agape has supported Noah's Bandage Project from the beginning through bandage collections. The Wilson family has been, and continues to be, an important part of the Agape family. Agape is also honored to have Noah's sister as a current student.
Agape Montessori School has a mission to provide Agape (unconditional love) to all children in a safe and caring environment while providing an excellent learning experience. One such learning experience that Agape hopes to instill in all of its students is that of generosity and support. Providing opportunities for children to help those in need is a vital way to show them how to become contributing members of society. Noah’s Crown Town 5K is an example of how we can make a difference in our community.
