If you can't make it there, you can STILL register Saturday morning, just before the race. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee you a t-shirt for Day-Of registrations, but we do have many shirts left over.
About Us!
The For a Day Foundation (FADF) with strong support from the Detroit Police Deparment is hosting their 5th Annual "Run with the Cops, not from Them!" charity fundraiser, on Historic Belle Isle. The FADF is a nationally registered 501(c)(3) charity that provides quality of life services to children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses in the metro-Detroit area. Last year, the FADF provided parties and special events at several metro-Detroit hospitals for over 600 children!

Walkers/Runners!!! 1 Mile fun walk/run $35; 5k and 10k, $35 - 5k (walk/run)/10k (race only). We cannot guarantee a shirt for Walk Up registrants. However, we have plenty of snacks afterward and you can join us in the festivities!

Corner of Vista Drive and The Strand! Views of the international waterway and Canada. Parking along The Strand. Please don't block the flow of traffic. Larger signage will be provided as you come onto the island.

2014 Race Info!
The Ticket 97.1, Scheduled to kick start the event will be Interim Detroit Police Chief James E. Craig, with special appearances from Detroit's Special Response Team, Bomb Squad, Dive Team, and Mounted Unit.
Course Info!
10k race-9:30a; 5k race-9:45a; (timing chipped) 1 Mile fun run/walk (timing clock)- 10:00am. Both 5k and 10k are USATF Certified and Governor's Council on Physical Fitness Endorsed. All participants will receive a t-shirt and water/snacks after the race.

5k: Overall Male & Overall Female; Masters Overall Male & Masters Overall Female (40 and over)....10k: Overall Male & Overall Female; Masters Overall Male & Masters Overall Female (40 and over)....5k & 10k: 3 medals deep, both genders in 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & Up!!!
Registration!
5k and 10k-USATF certified, timing chip-$30/person. 1 mile Fun Run/Walk, race clock-$20/person. All registrations after 4/1/2013 are $35/person. Day of registrations are $35/person. Shirts are not guaranteed for "day of" registrants, however, we will try out best to provide you with one. DAY OF REGISTRATIONS ACCEPTED!!! $35/all events-day of. Shirt not guaranteed, so show up early!!!
Deadlines!
Online registration is extended to April 30th, 2014, 11:59pm, and taking walk up registrations the morning of! Unfortunately, we can in nooooo way guarantee you a race shirt if you do not pre-register. It's a first come/first serve with our remaining shirts.
