Battle of the Rattle 5K

Welcome to the 15th Annual Battle of the Rattle 5k

For the health and safety of all of our runners we have made the Battle of the Rattle 5K virtual!  Starting September 12th you will be able to run, walk, or jog your 5K then will be able to enter your time online.  We are excited for the opportunity to make this race go global!  

To keep in the spirit of the traditional race there will be multiple categories for winners.  Including best costumes, fastest time, highest incline, and more!  Make sure to tag us in your photos too!  #battleoftherattle5K

This race is to benefit the Nevada Diabetes Association a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization incorporated in April 1997 by a merger between the Diabetes Educational Center founded in 1980 and the Nevada Children’s Diabetes Association founded in 1996. The organization is an independent diabetes association and is not affiliated with any national diabetes organization.

All funds raised by the NDA are used to provide local programs and services.

Everyone agrees that diabetes is a terrible disease. Everyone hopes for a cure. Until we find a cure what do we do in the meantime for the children & adults affected by this disease?

The NDA/ CDA is committed to make people living with diabetes lives better and help families that are effected by prevention, education and service.
