Strides for Students 5k

General Description: Join us at the Grove City Premium Outlets on Sunday, August 12 at 8:00 AM for the Strides for Students 5k. This race supports the Simon Youth Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps at-risk teens graduate from high school. All abilities levels of runners and walkers are welcome to participate! Come on out for a morning of fun and fitness and support a great cause while you're at it! 

Club Challenge: Club teams must have a minimum of 4 runners. A maximum of 6 runners are allowed on each team, however only the top 4 runners will be factored into the team scoring. Team scoring will follow traditional invitational scoring. All runners that are not a member of a team will be excluded from the team scoring. Your club may enter A, B, and C teams. If your team is traveling from out-of-state and needs a host family to stay with please email info@wolfcreektrackclub.com. There are a limited number of host families.

Prize Money: Top Men's Club Team: $100, Top Women's Club Team: $100, Top Male Finisher: $75, Top Female Finisher: $75. Current youth, high school, or collegiate runners will not be eligible for prize money in order to maintain eligibility. Winning teams and individual winners will also receive free entry to next year’s event. Special trophies will be given to the winning teams. 

Awards: Top 3 Overall Male and Female Finishers, plus the top 3 in each of the following age categories: 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & Over. 

Drawstring Bags: All participants will receive a drawstring bag!

Shirts: You are guaranteed a shirt in your size if you register on or before Wednesday, July 25th. After that, shirts may still be available, but we cannot guarantee it will be in your size. 

Gift Basket Raffle: All participants will receive a ticket for the prize raffle after the race. Additional tickets will be available for purchase. $5 for 3 tickets, $10 for arm's length. 

Additional Perks: All participants receive discount coupons for shopping at the Grove City Premium Outlets. Plus a local DJ will be present. Refreshments also provided!

Early Packet Pickup: Wise Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine on Friday, August 10th from 2-7pm and Saturday, August 11th from 1-3pm. Pick up your packet early and receive an extra ticket for the prize raffle!

Race-Day Registration: Open from 6:30-7:45am. Fee is $30. Race-day fee is $25 for ages 12 & Under and 60 & Over. 

Timing: This race will be disposable bib chip timed by Wolf Creek Race Management. 

Course: Flat and fast. 2.5 loops around the Grove City Premium Outlets. Inside lane is closed to traffic. The outlets do not open until 10:00 AM so traffic will be minimal. See the course map at the bottom of this page. 

Restrooms: Restrooms will be available inside the Grove City Premium Outlets Food Court.
