Description
Join us for the 27th Annual Nashville AIDS Walk and 5K Run. Each year we have over 1,000 dedicated people participate and help raise over $200,000 for the local non-profit Nashville CARES.
Nashville CARES is working hard to actively end the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Middle Tennessee and we need your help.
Join us in fundraising and enjoying a scenic walk or run through the downtown Nashville. All donations and proceeds from the race go directly to Nashville CARES. Together we will end the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Middle Tennessee!
Race day offers a family-friendly experience with something for everyone. Highlights include:

Nashville CARES, a 501c3 located in Nashville, TN, is the premier HIV/AIDS organization in the region. We provide comprehensive education, a broad range of targeted services and effective advocacy, all in a highly personal, confidential and compassionate manner. We are proactively and aggressively working to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Middle Tennessee. With your help, Nashville CARES offers services annually to 55,000 Middle Tennesseans infected and affected by HIV/AIDS including: HIV prevention education to more than 35,000 youth and adults, almost 16,000 FREE confidential HIV tests, and essential support services to 3,000 men, women and children living with the disease. Our mission is to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Middle Tennessee. We work to achieve this through education, advocacy and support for those at risk for or living with HIV.
With your help, Nashville CARES offers services annually to more than 55,000 Middle Tennesseans infected and affected by HIV/AIDS including: HIV prevention education to over 35,000 youth and adults, 16,000 confidential HIV tests, and support services to 3,000 men, women and children living with the disease.
Nashville CARES is partially funded by the Tennessee Department of Health, the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, the Metro Public Health Department, the Metropolitan Development & Housing Agency, the Community Enhancement Fund, the Centers for Disease Control, the Emergency Food & Shelter Program, and an array of private foundations.
