Volunteers will assist with manning the Volunteer Booth: checking in volunteers, assigning them to roles and making sure the snack area for volunteers and exhibitors is tidy and stocked.

Set-Up and Registration Volunteers

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Volunteers will be assigned to a variety of tasks: either helping to set-up the booths, signing in participants, registering participants on-site, handing out swag, assisting with on-site data entry, or manning and setting up the water station.

Mid-Walk Volunteers

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Volunteers will be assigned to a variety of tasks: either monitoring sections of the course to direct participants, manning the dog station, monitoring the VIP booth, assisting the Free HIV testing tent with sign-ups or generally acting as a "floater" to assist the staff.

Clean Up Crew

Volunteers will assist in cleaning up, packing up booths, loading up supplies into trucks, etc.

Testing Tent Volunteers

Details

Volunteers will assist in recruiting Walk participants to receive a free HIV test from Nashville CARES' education department. Volunteers will not be involved in the actual process of testing.

Water Volunteers

Volunteers be assigned to water stations throughout the course, and will be responsible for supplying water to booths throughout the morning.
