COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS AND PROCEDURES
The following policies and procedures are based on current recommendations for COVID-19 safety protocols and are subject to change at any time.
Individuals who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 do not need to wear a mask or other face covering outdoors at RRRC races, training programs, or other events.
RRRC strongly encourages anyone who is not fully vaccinated to wear a mask when they are not actively running/walking during an RRRC race or training program, especially when they cannot maintain 6 feet distance from other individuals (e.g., check-in, starting corral, finish area).
If you are fully vaccinated but you still want to take precautions when around others, RRRC fully supports you in wearing your face covering at any RRRC event.
Participants at increased risk for COVID-19. Per CDC guidelines the following groups are considered to be at a higher risk for contracting COVID-19. If any of these apply to you, we ask that you take the increased risk into consideration before registering or signing up to volunteer:
- CDC high risk age threshold (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/need-extra-precautions/older-adults.html).
- Those who are immunocompromised or undergoing treatment for an ongoing disease such as cancer, HIV, liver, or heart disease (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/need-extra-precautions/people-with-medical-conditions.html).
- Those with moderate to severe asthma.
