About Us
The Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Center of New Jersey (SCNJ) actively supports the 2017 Strides for Babies NJ 5K Run/Walk through education and volunteerism. SCNJ is a statewide program that provides bereavement support and case-management for bereaved families, educates the public, and participates in ongoing research efforts. Proceeds from this event benefits First Candle, a national not-for-profit committed to the elimination of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, Sudden Unexpected Infant Death and preventable Stillbirth through education and research while providing support for grieving families who have suffered a loss.
