Superheroes vs. Villains 5K – Frequently Asked Questions
1. When and where is the race?
The Superheroes vs. Villains 5K will take place on April 11, 2026 at the Great Dismal Swamp Trail. Additional event details, including location and schedule, will be shared with registered participants.
2. Can I wear a costume?
Costumes are not required, but they are highly encouraged! Come dressed as your favorite superhero or villain to add to the fun.
3. Are dogs allowed at the event?
Yes! Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash. Please follow all park guidelines regarding pets and be mindful of other participants.
4. Can young children participate in the 5K?
Absolutely! Children under the age of 6 are welcome to participate in the 5K when accompanied by a caregiver. We also have a 1 mile Fun Run that your family may be interested in.
5. What do I receive with my registration?
Participants who pay the registration fee will receive race items such as a ticket for a complimentary snow cone, t-shirt, and medal. Please note that these items are only guaranteed with a paid entry.
6. When is packet pickup?
Packet pickup will take place on April 10 from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Point 2 Running Company 741 Eden Way N #310, Chesapeake, VA 23320.
7. Can I pick up my packet on race day?
Yes. Packets can be picked up between 6:45 am and 7:30 am on race day.
8. Is this event timed?
Yes. Timing is provided by Big River Race Management
