Safety
The use of personal music devices is discouraged at this race. To enjoy all that our race has to offer and for the safety of all participants, the Cleveland Half Marathon 10k & 5k encourages a headphone-free environment during the running of the race.

We believe your race experience and those around you will be greatly enhanced by leaving the headphones at home or in the car. Running headphone-free allows opportunities to develop camaraderie with your fellow runners and to enjoy everything the race has to offer. Plus, volunteers and spectators will be on course cheering you on and providing directions to help get you to the finish line.

Runner safety has always been, and will continue to be, a top priority for our event. Please be mindful of the other participants and respect the race personnel to ensure a safe and enjoyable race for everyone.

Dogs, bikes, skateboards, and jogging strollers are not permitted in the race.

Timing
It's not as big as the New York City Marathon, but we will be using the same timing technology. The race will be chip timed using state of the art Chronotrack chips and equipment. Results will be provided immediately after the race at TerraRunning.com and ClevelandHalf.com.

Refunds
Due to the upfront nature of event costs, we have a uniform policy of no refunds, transfers to another runner or to a different distance, or deferrals to a future year. We know that plans change and unexpected things come up, but we feel it is most fair to apply a uniform policy to all, instead of an arbitrary line of who merits a refund and who doesn't. Thank you for understanding.

Parking
Free parking is available anywhere in downtown Cleveland, including all public parking lots and street parking.
