Miles for Mom

At Hope Center Adoption & Family Services, we continue in our mission and vision of serving the Upper Cumberland with affordable and accessible adoption services! Hope Center remains as the only agency of its kind here in our region, and in 2024, we are setting our sights on raising the funds to grow and expand the opportunities for housing that we can offer our expectant mothers. 

In a jumpstart effort and in honor and celebration of every mother in the adoption journey, Hope Center is hosting Miles for Mom, our very first 5K right here in Algood on Saturday, May 11, 2024. Our goal in hosting our first ever 5K is to raise $50,000 to go directly towards our larger and long-term goal of providing affordable housing options for Hope Center’s expectant and birth mothers. 

Miles for Mom will begin promptly at 8 AM, and will take you on an enjoyable and scenic route through Algood, TN. The cost of race registration is $35 which will cover the cost of your t-shirt and participant medal. On the day of the race, registration will increase to $50 - this includes a medal but not a shirt. Runners can pick up their swag bag here at the Hope Center office Friday, May 10 from 9:30am-4pm. Participants are also welcome to pick up swag bags the morning of the race at 7am. 235 W. Main St., Cookeville, Tn 38506

T-Shirt Information: A shirt is guaranteed with preregistration if you sign up by May 1st. Any preregistration from May 2 - May 10 will get their t-shirt(s) ordered and set aside for pickup at the Hope Center Office after the race day has been completed. We will send out an email or call you when t-shirts will be ready for pick up. 
Any day of signups are welcome to buy a shirt and will be notified when their t-shirt order is ready for pickup. Thank you for understanding!
