Roller Skate the Fayetteville Christmas Parade

We are going to bring back Tim's tradition of skating the Fayetteville Christmas parade! 

Skaters will meet on the street behind Walgreens by 4 PM - near corner of Shawnee Ave and Kraft Ave S. The parade does not begin until 5 PM, but streets will be closed so, make sure you get there before they close them down. We will turn north onto 431 and continue 0.7 mile until we reach First Baptist Church at 210 Elk Ave N. WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO THROW CANDY OR ANYTHING ELSE per the City, so please do not bring anything to toss to the crowd. They also ask that no one dresses like Santa - can wear a Santa hat, but just no full Santa regalia. And, speaking of, we highly encourage you to wear your most festive gear...if it lights up, that is a major bonus! :) 

Skaters should be reasonably proficient (be able to skate the entire route unassisted), and are responsible for their own transportation to and from the parade. 

If you need skates, we will allow you to sign them out from the rink before the parade, but they must be returned immediately after. All skaters who skate in the parade will get free entry to skate the rest of the night at the rink.
