Description
4.2 mile race to Fund Campbell County High School Scholarships
Race will start and end vacant lot on Eagle Bluff Road at the rear of the Eagle Gas and Food Market at 3070 Appalachian Hwy, Jacksboro, TN.
Race packet pickup on day of race 7:15 to 8:15 am. Race starts at 8:30 am.
A challenging course, here is your chance to say you made it to the top of Eagle Bluff. Starting on Eagle Bluff Road, you will head towards the mountain. In time, you will turn right and take the gravel road and a series of switch backs to the trail that leads to the top of Eagle Bluff. This is where you will turn around after taking a photo overlooking the valley. Head back down the hill to the finish line. You will cover a course just a little over 4 miles and climb 930 feet in elevation. The next time you drive along the four lane and look up at the mountain, you can say, “I conquered the bluff!”
This event is brought to you by the Campbell County High School Relief Fund. A 501(c)(3) organization, our fund’s objective is to raise and accept funds for the benefit of Campbell County High School (CCHS) students. Since 2006, the Fund has awarded 58 college scholarships totaling $80,000. With your participation, this amount will continue to grow. This May, we will award an additional $13,000 in scholarships.

Virtual Run Anywhere Event
This race has included a virtual run option as part of their package of events. The virtual option will be available as a run anywhere course event. That means that a registrant for the virtual option will be able to run the course that they choose for this for option. There will be a window of time that the course can be ran and the distance will be defined as part of the option. In other words if a race offers a virtual option, a participant in that event can run the course that they choose as many times as they choose over the time window offered. The participant will be able to post their time to the RunSignup results page for the virtual event. If they post several times, their last time posted will be the time listed in the results. Virtual participants will be automatically assigned a virtual bib number when they register. The bib number assigned will be included in their online registration confirmation email. They will not actually receive a physical bib as the number is only required when they post their results to the RunSignup results page. Participants in the virtual event will receive a race shirt, but must pick up their shirt at the early packet pickup (if offered) or at the day of race packet pickup. Virtual participants are not eligible for awards.
