6th Annual Downtown Dogtrot

This annual event, hosted by LIFT Wellness Center, is a favorite of everyone from serious runners to folks who like a leisurely stroll.  Runners like the late afternoon 5k and challenging course through the LANA area, and 1 mile fun walkers enjoy a beautiful view of the Jackson Walk area.  Runners and walkers are encouraged to participate with their dogs!  Register by April 12 in order to ensure that you receive one of our great 5k tshirts!  Race/walk starts at 6:00 p.m. on May 17, with registration beginning at 4:30 p.m.  All proceeds from registration fees and donations benefit the Downtown Dogs Group, a 501(c)(3), non-profit, no-kill dog rescue which focuses on those dogs generally overlooked for reasons such as age, health issues, or breed or temperament issues.
