When it comes to New Year's Resolutions, consistency, accountability, and concrete goals are the keys to success. Training with Fleet Feet Knoxville Training is an awesome way to accomplish all three, while becoming stronger and fitter.
Our Knoxville Marathon Races Training is perfect for seasoned runners wanting to set a PR or work on their endurance. The training program is designed to help you achieve your long distance running goals in a positive and fun group atmosphere, all while pushing you to become stronger and faster. There are two distance options to chose:
- Half Marathon: 12 week training program starts the week of Jan 6th, you should be able to run/walk 5-6 miles comfortably.
- 10k-15k: 10 week training program starts the week of Jan 20th, you should be able to run/walk 2-3 miles comfortably.
Timeline
- Q&A Session: Thu Jan 2nd & 16th at 5:30pm. This open-to-all discussion will be followed by a Open Group Walk/Run at 6:00pm.
- Gear-Up Week: The first week of the training program participants receive in-store discounts on any gear needed to get ready to train - from footwear to bras to hydration.
- Workouts: Tues at 6:00 PM and Sat at 7:30 AM (starts week of Jan 6th for half marathon and week of Jan 20th for 15k)
- Target Race: Knoxville Half Marathon or Marathon Relay Race on Sun Mar 29th
Participants Receive
- A complete Training Program and calendar with detailed workouts
- Weekly coach led training session with hydration provided
- Weekly e-mail from the coach with tips, advice and motivation/encouragement
- E-mail support – the coach will answer individual questions regarding training and running related issues
- Weekly Group Runs available from Fleet Feet Sports
- Technical fiber shirt
- Discount to Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon Half, Full, Relay, or 5k.
