Livestock Jackpot XC 5K

Come and relive your high school career, compare performances against local athletes or race your first ever Cross Country race with this classic 5K race on a full grass course!  Having hosted high school meets on the course all season, the course has been groomed and treated to provide a challenging change to the frequent road racing scene. Registration is $30 in advance or $40 day of race.  This event will be open to any individuals and teams of 4 who register together, sign up to Spike-up for this inaugural November XC race. 

**TEAMS**

This race will be run with teams and individuals together.  Teams will be scored based on the top 4 runners of a team competing in the following categories: Male, Female & Co-ed Teams. Lowest Team Score wins (3rd place= 3 points etc.)  There is no limit to the number of members a team may hold.  ***Team "Captains" must set an initial password during registration, all team members thereafter will be required to use this same password during their registration to join a respective team.  There are currently no awards for teams- just bragging rights! 

**JACKPOT CASH & AWARDS**

Top 3 over-all winners for each gender will be eligible for Jackpot Cash Awards.  The Jackpot is not a set amount but is contingent on the number of entrants.  A portion of all entry fees will add into the Jackpot prize.  Age group awards will be awarded in 10-year increments. Individual winners are not eligible for Age Group awards, there are currently no awards for teams- just bragging rights! 

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 Male AND the top 3 Female runners, An award will also be given to the fastest Master runner (40 and older) of the meet, Award structure will be as follows:

1st place: 1$ per # of entrants

2nd place: $.50 per # of entrants

3rd place: $.25 per # of entrants

Masters Overall Winner: $.25 per # of entrants (Over age 40)

(100 entrants= $100-1st place, $50-2nd place, $25-third place)
