Move Forward 5k and 1 mile Family Fun Run/Walk

Come get moving with your friends and family on a fall Saturday morning! October is National Physical Therapy Month. To celebrate, we want to invite our community to Move Forward with us! Exercise is medicine and has the potential to treat or cure over 40 chronic illnesses and diseases impacting our community and nation. Physical therapists are highly trained experts on exercise and movement and we want to help you get moving forward for better health! 

Come race the 5K or bring the kids and/or dogs (on a leash) for a nice stroll or roll on the greenway for a fun mile! For the Fun Run/Walk bring your wheelchairs, walkers, canes, crutches, strollers, baby carriers, or wagons to get moving with your family! Both events will take place on the paved Knoxville City Greenways around West High School. All registered participants will receive an event t-shirt and post-race snacks. Awards in the 5K will be given for the top 3 male and female overall winners, top male and female masters (age 40+), and top 3 male and female of the following age groups: 10 and under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.
