Salamander Splash & Dash

The Salamander Splash & Dash, the first leg of the Crown Cleaners Kids Tri Series, is held at the Westside Family YMCA in Knoxville. Salamander is a youth swim/run event, with two age specific distance courses. 7-10 year olds will compete at a 100 yard swim/.75 mile run distance, with 11-14 years olds competing at a 200 yard/1.5 mile run distance. Race age will determined by actual age on July 19, not "USAT age" at the end of the year.

Official Splash & Dash series shirts will be given to all participants, as well as USAT Splash & Dash series finisher medals. Post race refreshments and snacks will be provided. No awards will be given following the race, but participant times will be posted at www.racedayevents.net within an hour of the conclusion of the event.

The Salamander is part of the USAT Splash & Dash Youth Aquathlon series, and a youth membership, either one day ($10) or annual ($15) license is required, and may be purchased during the online registration process.
Day of race registration is available for $30. This does not include the USAT one day or annual membership fee.
