Description
The 3rd race in the Miles to Margaritas southeast tour, this race is sure to be a blast in Knoxville on October 21st at 8am! Coming to Knoxville for the second year and taking over Volunteer Landing, this event will bring us out and back for a flat and fast 5k course finishing with a flavorful Margarita!
Start with a run, End with a Margarita!
Each registrant will receive a race shirt and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Young-Williams Animal Shelter Foster Program. You can also find a link in registration to donate. Last years event raised over $2,000 for the no-kill animal shelter!
Each finisher will receive a finishers medal that can represent all on its own, or fit in with the rest of the series medals. Find out more about the tour HERE
Awards will be:
Top Male and Female overall, Biggest Team award, Fastest Team award, Top 3 male and female in each age group. Special awards will be given at the awards ceremony following the last finishers.

Race Day Parking
There is NO parking at Calhouns or Volunteer Landing for this event. The parking will be at the free parking garages located on the map below. If you park at Calhouns, Volunteer Landing, Ruth's Chris, or any private business you will most likely be towed.

The Course
Start line is located on Neyland dr. right at the corner of Walnut street and Neyland.
Finish line will be located on the center stage at Volunteer Landing.
Course goes West on Neyland in the West bound lane turning around at Railroad tracks to head to opposite lane heading back east. The course will take a right onto the greenway at the boathouse heading down the river walk to the landing.

A Portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Young-Williams Animal Shelter Foster program. Last year over $3,000 was donated to the program that helps animals be able to stay in a safe place while awaiting adoption, battling illness, or just having a respit from the shelter for a few days.
